HR Manager
Food Manufacturing - To act as a strategic partner to the MD, Exec Team, and local HR teams providing advice, guidance, coaching and hands on support to define and deliver the People plan, covering all aspects of HR (Talent, Organisation and Culture) and deliver great business results.
Main Responsibilites include:
Talent
Recruitment & Selection: Ensure effective recruitment takes place including effective selection and onboarding using job descriptions, right to work etc. Liaise with senior team to ensure workforce planning targets met through managing all labour agencies
Training & development: Work with the relevant senior leaders to ensure a comprehensive training programme is in place to address all employee needs. Identify and facilitate manager development as required
Performance Management & Appraisal: Ensure the smooth rollout/operation of the process
Organisation
Organisation: Work with MD and Exec Team to ensure a fit for purpose organisational structure.
Policies & practices:
Ensure that policies & processes are in place.
HR Data:
Ensure that information and data within the HR function is managed in an efficient and effective way including working hours data for input to Payroll and that all documentation is accurate, up to date and compliant eg contracts etc. Establish and report metrics. Ensure compliance with all audits (including customer, BRC, SEDEX, Home Office etc) and act proactively to make improvements in liaison with the relevant teams
