Currently, they are actively in search of a permanent HR Manager.
THE ROLE
As the HR Manager, you will report directly to the Managing Director, taking on full responsibility for the HR function at a significant manufacturing site. Your key responsibilities will encompass coordinating recruitment and selection processes, conducting new employee inductions, managing probationary reviews, and overseeing payroll administration. Your role will extend to absence monitoring and reporting, updating absence records, guiding managers on disciplinary and grievance processes, and assisting in holiday management for various departments. Furthermore, you will stay updated on policies and procedures, oversee the implementation of performance management processes, and administer employee benefit schemes. In addition, your duties will involve training new HR staff, overseeing apprenticeships, and delivering HR training.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, you should presently be working in HR with management experience, possess a wealth of knowledge in the manufacturing sector, and have a deep understanding of the manufacturing environment. You should demonstrate confidence when interacting with management and senior staff across different company departments and exhibit a commitment to compliance and legislation. Additionally, you should be prepared to build and develop a new HR team, be CIPD qualified, hold at least 5 GCSEs, and ideally have some experience in payroll management. Maintaining strict confidentiality within the HR team is essential, along with being adaptable and always maintaining a professional demeanour.
