Our prestigious international production/manufacturing company based in Leicestershire is seeking a experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join their company. The successful individual will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and production work environment, driving HR initiatives & supporting the company's overall goals.
Responsibilities:
Lead the recruitment and on-boarding process, ensuring the acquisition of top talent.Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace culture.Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and promote career growth.Oversee performance management systems, conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback.Develop and update HR policies to ensure compliance with employee laws and organizational standards.Spearhead employee engagement initiatives, including team-building activities and events.Administer employee benefits programs and address inquiries to ensure a comprehensive and competitive package.Facilitate effective communication between management and employees, contributing to a transparent work environment.Mediate and resolve conflicts, promoting open communication channels and a collaborative atmosphere.Track HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and generate reports for management review.Stay abreast of employment laws and regulations, providing guidance to ensure legal compliance. Essentials:
- CIPD Level 5 or above
- People lead person (good listener to employees and problem solver)
- Strong Employment law knowledge
- Very organised and ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Pro-active character, result driven and continuous improvements
- Ability to use HR Systems/Databases in particular with Spreadsheets (Excel)
- Confident to carry out presentations for training and facilitate training sessions when needed
- Office based role with some occasions working from home after probation however, flexible outlook depending on HR issue
