Our Client are looking for a strategic HR Manager, to join the business, and lead on all HR activities, focussing on organisational development, and offer guidance and advice to the senior management team, on the people function and long term strategic thinking. Experience in mergers and acquisition would be beneficial.
This is a permanent role, paying up to GBP60k DOE.
Responsibilities
Oversee all operational HR activitiesMonitor, update and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are fit for purposeSupport with Employee Relation issuesWork with key stakeholders to identify skills gaps and development needsDesign and implement training programmes, assist with appraisal processes, and identify individual development opportunitiesDirect communications improvementsWork to built a robust people strategy, fit for growth to future proof the businessWork on cultural change projects, focussing on and promoting company values and employee wellbeing Person Specification
Level 5 CIPD qualified HR professionalIdeally experienced in a manufacturing environmentAdept and managing and nurturing key stakeholder relationshipsDemonstrable experience of working in a hands on HR role, with strong generalist HR knowledgeExperience of implementing and managing changeIdeally knowledge of merger and acquisitionsAbility to work collaboratively with cross functional teams, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIdeally experienced in an SME environmentFlexible and adaptable in approach to workCreative and forward thinking .
