We're not your typical HR Consultancy. We work collaboratively with small businesses across a variety of sectors to provide outsourced HR support. Our clients think of us as an extension of their team so you get to build great working relationships, just like you would in an in-house role.
As our next HR Coordinator, you'll be involved in ensuring that our clients get the best experience from our Consultancy. You will be juggling a variety of tasks for clients in a number of different sectors, keeping each day interesting and always growing your skill set. Our Head Office is in Sevenoaks, but the majority of our clients are London-based. So, whilst this role is mainly home-based, there is often a requirement to travel up to 2 days a week into either Sevenoaks or London.
A typical day:
Managing the end-to-end recruitment process including advertising roles, longlisting candidates, scheduling interviews and pre-employment checks including reviewing references, checking right to work evidence and setting up occupational health referralsPreparing contracts, offer and variation to contract lettersPreparing payroll submission spreadsheets with e.g. sickness, unpaid leave etc. Maintaining employee compliance checks (e.g. DBS checks, professional body membership etc.)Maintaining employee records on HR Information Systems and troubleshooting any issues.Administering HR benefits using a number of benefits platforms Maintaining electronic training recordsRunning regular reports Make suggestions for improvements and efficiencies to our systems/processes to give our clients the best possible experienceGeneral HR administration including responding to reference requests, basic policy and payroll queries Processing leavers, calculating holiday entitlements and drafting lettersCoordinating the probation process Generating pay review lettersSupporting PMP's People Partners delivering an outsourced HR service to our clients as part of the client's HR department Being point of contact for web or telephone enquiries about our services What you will bring to the role:
You'll have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with a variety of clients ranging from creative agencies to charities and healthcare providers in a busy environment with a committed team. As you will be working with sensitive employee data, you will be expected to be discreet and understand the importance of confidentiality and the need to keep our client's data secure. In addition, you will have:Experience of working in an HR department either in-house or a consultancy environmentExcellent attention to detailGreat customer service and organisation skillsA collaborative approach with great communication skills allowing you to work with colleagues and clients remotelyConfidence learning and working with new systems including HR databases and be very comfortable and competent using MS Office including Sharepoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Forms and ExcelAn awareness of Data Protection legislation in relation to HR records.Experience of either BambooHR or Breathe HR information systems would be helpful, but if not, we can provide training We work flexibly as a team so while we do have a requirement for a full time person, we would also consider a job share to cover the work.
