This role presents a unique chance for a dedicated and results-driven HR professional to contribute significantly to the people strategy and performance across the Southern England region.
As the HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the employee lifecycle, implementing change, and leading project work.
You will be joining an established business, overseeing the various sites across England and Wales. This role offers a salary of up to 40,000 per annum, plus car allowance, along with additional benefits such as 23 days holiday (increases with years of service), pension contribution, buy and sell holidays. These benefits will be reviewed on a yearly basis.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Talent Management:
Ongoing forecasting of future requirements.Supporting the Resourcing team to bring in quality talent.Ownership of succession planning for key employees.Employee Development:
Ensuring effective induction for new colleagues.Implementing training and development plans to meet requirements.Identifying and managing talent within the local cluster.HR Strategy Implementation:
Translating HR strategy into practical objectives.Implementing HR initiatives and frameworks.Compliance and Reporting:
Ensuring compliance with employment law.Providing ongoing people management and performance reporting.Supporting the annual engagement process and executing action plans.Operational Support:
Providing tactical HR support on a regional basis.Supporting sales presentations and contract negotiations for new business.Project Work:
Undertaking project work to enhance HR practices and processes.Collaborating with depot teams to execute agreed action plans.Engagement:
Driving engagement and productivity.Supporting the mobilisation plans for new sites in the geographical area.Attending roadshows to enhance engagement.Requirements:
Previous experience as an HR Business Partner.Hands-on approach, motivated, resilient, and results driven.Strong organisational skills.Ability to oversee the employee lifecycle and implement change.Familiarity with employment law and HR best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.This is an outstanding opportunity to join a stable and high-performing business.
