Working for a successful FMCG business your role as the Human Resource Business Partner will be to work closely with the UK HR Manager to ensure and implement the operational delivery of the organisation and people strategy.
You will be a front line member of the HR Team and the custodian of fairness and consistency of practices
Your recommendations, conversations and plans will be informed by close proximity to both internal data and insights and external best practice to ensure that we are providing best in class HR support to our people & organisation.
The HR Business Partner role works within a wider community of HR professionals and the company network.
Key accountabilities, deliverables & KPIs, impact on business results
Operational HR
Manage all employee relations casework including performance, sickness and absence management. Coach and support people managers to frame these conversations well.
Manage the process of the employee life cycle: induction, probation signs off and exit interviews.
Act as a key member of the HR Business Partner community within the business driving cross CBU projects and cyclical processes such as policy updates and People Surveys.
Manage the recruitment process of permanent and temporary resources on site.
Support the UK HR Manager on all people cycle processes: Annual Salary Review, Bonus payments, Talent reviews and Development conversations.
Health & Wellbeing Agenda
Accountable for the health and wellbeing agenda across the site.
Promote the health and wellbeing offerings we provide our employees.
Learning Interface
Support the Training Coordinator with the Learning & Development requirements of the site.
Capability building and Innovation
To support in building the capabilities for the future and to advise in respect of change improvements and innovation in order to ensure that the organisational structure and staffing is aligned with the company's objectives.
Stakeholders
A wide range of stakeholders across the site, including the Plant Director and their Plant Leadership Team, all Team Leaders and First Line Managers, employees; the UK HR Team
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification or experience
Excellent working knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation
Sound HR generalist and operational experience
Planning and organisational skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate with and engage effectively with stakeholders of all levels
Strong analytical and computer skills, comfortable with numbers, data, systems and MS Office
Proven track record of managing a full ER caseload.
Evidence of CPD
Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience
CIPD Level 7 or equivalent or working towards
Experience working within an FMCG environment.
Experience co-ordinating L&D activities.
Experience with managing a team.
