Description

Anderson Knight are recruiting a HR Business Partner for one of our well known clients based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. The is a full time 12 month FTC with hybrid working available. The purpose of this role is to provide expertise alongside colleagues in areas such as ER, performance management, talent acquisition and talent management. For this role you must have an excellent understanding of HR practices in order to grow and drive positive outcomes for the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

Working alongside management and department heads to identify solutions and initiatives with meet company values and goals. Ensuring people engagement practices in to the overall business goals and values. Working alongside the resourcing team to understand business requirements and turning them in to resourcing helping the recruitment process where necessary. Participate in the development of onboarding process including development and implementation of training and personal development programmes Working alongside the L&D team to identify any training needs. You will be required to support the performance review process by providing coaching, feedback and tools to assist conversations between managers and colleagues Monitoring of staff attendance, and providing advice where necessary when absence levels are approaching breach of acceptable standards Provide support and guidance to managers on all ER matters including disciplinary actions, performance management etc. Attend to colleague concerns and grievances, ensuring a fair and consistent approach while adhering to business policies and legal regulations. Ensure you are staying up to date with employment laws and regulations to ensure that the business remains compliant. Working alongside the reward and recognition team to deliver annual salary review and performance bonus.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills:

Must 4 years experience in a HR Advisory, Senior HR Advisor, HRBP role Excellent knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations Strong communication and negotiation skills Be able to build strong working relationships with business stakeholders Be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team effectively.
