HR Business Partner

South West England, Devon, Torquay, Fixef Term Contract 12 months, expected to work Full-Time hours, Salary GBP35,000 - GBP38,000

The role of an HR Business Partner is crucial in ensuring the effective management and development of human resources within an organisation. As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR Business Partner to all functions of the Council including Academies, Schools and external customers.

Job Duties:

Collaborating with the management team to understand the organisation's goals and objectives and align HR strategies accordingly.Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programmes in compliance with employment laws and regulations.Providing advice and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.Managing the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and making job offers.Overseeing the on boarding process for new employees and ensuring a smooth integration into the organisation.Leading and facilitating employee engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, recognition programmes, and team-building activities.Identifying training and development needs within the organisation and coordinating the delivery of relevant training programmes.Keeping up-to-date with HR best practises and industry trends to continuously improve HR processes and initiatives. Knowledge and Skills:

Comprehensive understanding of HR principles, practises, and strategies.Ability to analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and provide insights.Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification in Human Resources Level 7 CIPD.Experience working in the HR function within the Human Resources industry.Knowledge of HR software systems for managing employee data and workflows.
