Description

Our Client are looking for a high calibre candidate to join the business as HR Business Partner, being responsible for the administration of HR & Payroll processes, whilst also working closely with the CFO on HR initiatives.

About the role

The HR Business Partner will have sole responsibility for the HR function, reporting into the CFO and the Board who will provide strategic direction. The HR Business Partner will also be the key contact and liaison point for third party providers (e.g. Payroll, Advisors)

Based at our Halesowen Head Office site, the role covers 2 manufacturing sites and 2 satellite sites in There are circa 90 employees in the Group.

The role encompasses a strong administrative element, alongside business partnering with operations on labour efficiency KPIs.

Main tasks of role

HR & Payroll Processes/Policies: Own HR and Payroll processes and policies, ensuring that key processes are mapped and standard work is in place. Assist with training and roll out of key processes/policies, working with third party advisors as necessary. Prepare HR KPI's and monthly pack for review with the Board (e.g. absenteeism, O/T% etc.)

Payroll: Work with the payroll provider to provide timely inputs and information as required to administer payroll. Look for process improvement opportunities internally. Support Line Managers with the administration of our Time & Attendance system, including the clearing of anomalies.

Skills Matrices and Training/Development Plans: Work with Functional Leaders to update and maintain skills matrices for each Department. Assist with formulation of development plans. Work with Functional Leaders to recruit for open positions,

Business Partnering: Support Operations management in reconciling paid hours to worked hours and the management of overtime and KPIs.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience in a HR Advisor/Officer role, comfortable in supporting Senior Management Team and the wider business in a standalone role.Comfortable working through the "day to day" administration of HR processes as well as working on strategic projects.CIPD qualification/part qualification desirableExperiences of HR systemsKnowledge of Employment Law and employment regulationsComputer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel.
