HR Advisor – Home Based
Salary circa 30k dependent on skills and experience + healthcare + commission scheme
Full time – minimum 30 hours pw spread over 5 days (Monday to Friday - no weekends)
Home Based – easily accessible to the Yorkshire/Nottinghamshire area to travel to clients on an ad-hoc basis – car driver essential

Our client is a leading HR and employment law partner providing expert professional HR and legal support across the UK. Their team of expert HR and Employment Lawyers are dedicated to providing tailored solutions to businesses of all sizes, helping them navigate the complexities of HR.
You must be self-motivated, enjoy working from home and have a dedicated room with zero background noise and disturbance plus a reliable broadband connection. You will have regular contact with other team members via shared on-line resource planners and work closely with the Human Resources Director who is very ‘hands-on’ within the company.
Key responsibilities but not limited to:-
Providing advice via telephone and email on standard HR matters such as disciplinaries, investigations, absence, right to work, recruitment, grievances.Coordinating cases and providing support to senior team members.Undertaking basic investigations and producing a report.Developing into investigating grievances and disciplinary hearings in time.Writing blogs and researchUndertaking pay benchmarkingDrafting pre-agreed contracts and policiesCompleting pre-agreed HR audits and writing reports.Onboarding new clientsNote-taking in hearingsHR admin for clients such as preparing reports, onboarding starters, leavers, placing recruitment adverts and keeping data up to date.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
Experience of using Microsoft OfficeCIPD qualification (or equivalent experience)Excellent attention to detail and grammar skills - particularly for drafting contracts, policies and writing reports.Someone who is confident and able to work to their own schedule without needing reminders.Excellent communication skills and someone who enjoys interacting with a variety of people at all levels.
