Description

LHH are working in partnership with a leading organisation on the South Coast to recruit HR Advisor - Employee Relations, for a 12 month FTC.

We are looking for someone who has previously worked in the capacity of HR Advisor/Employee Relations Advisor and your main focus will have been across ER cases. You will have the ability to provide a centre of excellence for management and will be responsible for an individual area of the business meaning you will be able to create key relationships.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues in a straightforward way. You will be highly organised and methodical with great attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate a clear understanding or processes involved in absence management, conduct grievance and performance cases including MI analysis.

What will you be doing?

You will play a key part in supporting leaders as they get to grips with a new approach to a colleague attendance policy, helping them to understand and undertake the appropriate actions. This is in addition to handling conduct, grievance and performance cases, action planning and individual bespoke case management strategies.

You will also:

Effectively manage absence, conduct and performance via informal action and formal case managementSuccessfully able to navigate Colleague policies and processes and communicate these to leadersAchieve positive and reasonable outcomes for both Colleagues and the CompanyManage employee relation case work, including supporting and coaching leaders on best practiceProactively work with leaders to drive and secure early identification and resolution of issues in our core employee relations areasHighlight any trends from case work to support the Employee Relations Partner with addressing the issue areas, through providing effective and informative weekly reporting
