Description

Working for a leading well known retail brand I am hiring for a HR Advisor to join the team on a 12 months FTC - to cover Maternity leave.

This is an office-based role located at the HO in Amesbury. 32,000 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

You will be an experienced and commercially focussed HR Advisor able to provide generalist HR support to our clients Head Office and Warehouse.

As an HR Advisor you will ideally be CIPD qualified to a Level 5 and working towards Level 7 with strong generalist exposure in a fast paced commercial environment.

An excellent knowledge of employee relations to include managing disciplinary and grievance issues. Absence management and performance management is essential to this role.

Job Overview

Be a Company ambassador, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customersProvide generalist support such as casework investigations and meetingsProvide accurate HR advice to managers and employeesLiaise with Trade Union representatives regarding case workUndertake project workReview Company policy, procedures and associated documentsDevelop and manage effective internal team relationshipsCoach managers in implementing and developing good people and performance management practices across the businessDeliver training workshops to managers on key HR areas as requiredEnsure that HRIS data is accurately recorded and maintained accuratelyContribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practicesAssist colleagues as and when required with HR transactional tasksEnsure continuous personal development

To Apply you will have -

CIPD qualification to level 5 or preferably level 7HR practitioner with minimum 5 years' experienceExperience of HRIS including, accessing, inputting, compiling and reportingWell-developed communication skills, both written and oralCommercial awareness to understand the business needs and requirements equally amongst other considered factorsAbility to co-ordinate a busy workload and to produce high quality work with a focus on attention to detailProven organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesExperience of working with senior managers and staff who have varying understanding of HR processes
