Salary: up to 200 UMB per day (Dependant on experience)

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join our client in Gloucester on a short-term interim contract, working on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 2 days in the office.

The ideal HR Advisor will be working as part of a dedicated team to offer an outstanding HR Service for the organisation and drive the business forward, and support all HR activities in line with the department's organisational objectives.

The duties of the HR Advisor include:

Supporting the service wide innovative workforce management practice to achieve business outcomesAdvise managers within the organisation and partnering organisations on employment best practice and on employment lawDevelop and implement employment policies and guidanceProvide advice and guidance to line managers to solve specific business delivery and development challenges on a case-by-case basis to achieve business excellenceAct as a support to other HR and OD Team membersIdentify opportunities to make proactive changes in work practices that contribute to HR and OD and continuous business improvement by looking for new solutions and innovative ways to resolve issues - Review whether these changes implemented are effective on an ongoing basisWork with HR Business Partners for effective planning and analysis to ensure alignment with business prioritiesAct as an ambassador for the organisation with partner organisations and customersLiaise, influence, and negotiate with trade unions and other employee representativesAssist the Head of Human Resources to analyse and report the spend on HR Contracts, projects and development programmes and ensure systems are in place to agree, implement and monitor work programmesDevelop and maintain knowledge of employment terms and conditions covering public sector organisationTake professional lead in one or more specific areas of HR to ensure the service delivered is appropriate, effective, and efficientSupport projects and complex cases, leading and taking ownership as appropriateProactively coach HR/OD Colleagues and act as and effective mentor to other HR/OD Teams

The HR Advisor will ideally have:

Experience within the public sectorMCIPD Qualified or equivalent HR experienceExperience of working within an ED&I areaExperience of providing professional advice and guidance to managers on a full range of HR issues.

The HR Advisor will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
