With businesses that encompass hospitality, leisure, retail, and significant support infrastructure, our client is looking for a HR Advisor with a strong bias to all aspects of Employee Relations to take ownership of all employee relations matters, supporting the HR team and managers whilst ensuring a fair and consistent approach to the organisation s policies and procedures. Experience of working within a unionised environment is essential.
Through expert advice and guidance, the HR Advisor will manage and advise on ER processes and introduce appropriate interventions and solutions. You will empower and support managers and employees through various ER situations. The role will also oversee ER focused policies and procedures and be a key part of the HR team.

Salary up to GBP40,000 Pension Bonus HR Advisor (Employee Relations) Requirements
Advise, coach and support employees and line managers on a wide range of ER issues across the full employee life cycle, ensuring fairness and consistency Provide ER advice in line with legal compliance and consistency with the organisation s values and ethos Lead on absence and long term sickness cases Coordinate the ER caseload, maintaining accurate records for ER cases Provide ongoing briefing and coaching for managers on ER policies Build relationships with line managers and external stakeholders Research current ER trends and share with the team Work with the HR team to review and maintain ER process, policies and procedures, providing best practice advice Provide regular reporting to the HR team on ER metrics Working within a unionised environment on all ER matters HR Advisor (Employee Relations) Personal Attributes & Experience
Experience in managing ER within a face to face environment (this role wouldn t suit someone who delivers ER advice remotely or in a shared service environment) Has managed, led and advised on a variety of ER casework within a fast-paced environment Demonstrable and sound knowledge of UK employment law Experience of drafting and proofreading documents to a high standard Can work to timescales and manage a busy workload in an organised and efficient manner Thinks ahead and can generate innovative ideas and solutions Gets things done, delivers to high standards and takes responsibility Maintains confidentiality at all times Excellent problem solving skills Positive and resilient when faced with setbacks About Us
