Our client is a leading manufacturing business based in Banbury. They are looking to acquire the services of an HR Administrator to join their team on a part–time basis. This position will involve working alongside the Head of HR, providing administrative support as well as HR knowledge. The role will also involve sitting at the reception desk to answer the phones when needed. The ideal candidate would be someone who has previously worked in a similar HR position and has good knowledge of employment law. They would be open to candidates who have strong admin experience and are both inquisitive and proactive.Please Note: This is a part–time role, working Mondays and Wednesdays, Fridays, working around 18 hours. This role is fully on–site on the working days.Main Responsibilities Assist with recruitment, liaise with recruitment agencies and book interviews. Administration of new starter process, including PES checks, preparation of offer letters, contracts and welcome letters. Oversee the induction process up to the completion of probation. Including preparation of induction plans, managing the induction process, and sending out three–month probation surveys and confirmation letters. Keeping the HRM system up to date with starters, leavers and employee updates. Drafting employee correspondence. Monthly updates of employee changes to benefits broker. Administration of annual DVLA checks. Maintain training records on the training matrix. Assist with the organisation of training. Participate in HR projects. Monitoring absence. Engage with employees and assist with queries. Manage suggestion boxes. Contribute to the company newsletter. Assist with the implementation of initiatives from employee surveys. Monitor long service and manage the award process. Based on a quiet reception desk greeting visitors and answering the switchboard. Providing support to the Business Administrator in a variety of tasks during busy periods and holiday cover. Administration support to the MD and SMT.
