We are currently seeking an experianced Housing Solutions Hospital In-Reach Officer to support people being discharged from Hospital; offering support to enable clients to move to settled accommodation.

Experience and Skills

Understanding of the impact of national and local policies and how they influence local government processes, drivers, structures and work practices.Understanding of access to social housing.Awareness of issues and initiatives facing local housing authorityExperience and detailed working knowledge of relevant Lettings, Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and Housing Act legislation including security of tenure and private tenants' rights; welfare benefits including personal benefits and housing related benefits.Experience of providing an effective housing advice and homeless service to members of the public.Experience of carrying out interviews, investigations and negotiations.If you would like to apply for this role please forward your CV, alternatively please contact Sarah on (phone number removed)
