An East London Borough of Council is looking for an Interim Housing Delivery Manager.

As the Delivery Project Manager you will deliver an exceptional service, we are looking for a Project Manager to join the Housing Property Services Major Works and Direct Delivery Team.

You will work alongside the Clerk of Works, Quantity Surveyors, Resident Liaison Officers and external contractors in delivering the programmes of planned works and improvements to our Housing stock, as well as new build programmes.

This role reports to the Senior Project Manager. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing an individual case load to successfully deliver the HRA Planned Works programme. You will provide an effective and responsive service to the residents in relation to refurbishment, reinvestment and new build schemes. Your role will involve appointing consultants; project management; contract administration; supervising contractors, consultants and works; and health and safety.

You will have budget management responsibility for your projects. In order to achieve high resident satisfaction, you will monitor and manage performance within your area of responsibility to ensure standards are met.
