Job Description

House Porter

Washing all pots, glassware and cutlery to the highest standards of cleanliness

Keep the kitchen floor and the stairwell clean and tidy

Make sure front of house staff have all the items they need clean, polished and put away in a timely manner

Polish glassware as soon as it comes out of the dishwasher

‘bus’ tables during busy periods if required

Assist the chef if needed

Keep the cellar clean and tidy

Deep clean cellar once a week

Check stock rotation and use by dates on all cellar stock

Stock count

Clean the kitchen at the end of shift and fill in cleaning HCAAP paperwork

Take out bins and cardboard

Any other duties that may reasonably asked by management

3 days a week.
