Uplawmoor Hotel is a well established family run business, we have experience of absolute excellence in hospitality that we are proud of and looking for a new GM to take over and be proud of our hotel.

What Your Role will involve:

* Ensure through regular monitoring that standards of comfort, atmosphere, cleanliness and safety are maintained.

* The General Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the Hotel with assistance from Assistant Managers/Supervisors.

* Ensure as a minimum that budgeted expectations are met through frequent reviews of all sales & expenditure items and continual action to solve any problems are taken.

* Authorise purchasing, control stock level of products & consumables in line with budget and business needs and maintain secure storage with the Area Manager.

* Compose well written, professional correspondence when communicating with customers.

* Consistently perform to the hotel standards of service by interacting with guests, clients and associates in a professional and friendly manner, and to ensure all staff follow this example.

* Review guest feedback in conjunction with the Area Manager and use feedback to initiate long term improvements to products and services.

* Stock Control.

* Daily line checks, upkeep and monitoring.

As the ideal General Manager you must have:

* A minimum of 2 years management experience.

* Excellent management and development skills.

* Excellent organisation and people skills.
