Honda's Supermagna. V4 D.O.H.C. 6 Speed Shaft Drive Low Seat P.D.Q. Classic Cruiser.
Due to my being Completely Bonkers - I re-build Honda Magna's. As a 'Wallet Reduction Therapy.' Bought this in August 2023. As it is a 'Super Rare' - '750cc Supermagna.' They Had a Very Low Production of 'Only 3,500 Made' - in 1988. This one Arrived in U.K. 09-09-2011. It's last M.O.T. ended April 2019. I have 'No Budget' on my projects. This One. I stripped down to Engine & Frame. Refurbed the wheels - New rear brake shoes, Front Calliper full refurb & New Disc Pads. Forks refurbed - New Top & Bottom Sliders - Oil & Dust Seals - Fluids & Progressive Springs. Steering Head ball bearings Replaced with 'Taper Roller Bearings' & dust seals. New Fork Leg Brace. New Handle Bars - Grips - Brake & Clutch - Levers & Mirrors. Both Clutch & Brake Masters Fully re-built Internally & new Sight Glasses. New Hydraulic S/S Braided lines to F/Brake & Clutch Slave - also Rebuilt. Engine case cleaned & Painted, Carbs removed Cleaned & floats re-set. Diaphragms checked - re-built with new S/S Bolts & boots. Air Box Cleaned & New K&N Lifetime Air Filter installed. Rocker Covers removed to check out for any cam wear = All Good & pictures taken. Earlier models suffered from premature wear. This Model Did Not - But I checked it out anyway & Installed New High Pressure Oil Line Feeds, New Iridium Spark Plugs. New Plug caps. New copper core H/T Leads, & the Coils checked out All Good. As did the 'Pick up Coils' Installed a New 'Moto-Batt' (the best) Gel Battery & Optimate Charger Lead. Also installed New Alternator - New Starter Relay - New Clutch Plates with New Upgraded Springs. New Oil Filter & Semi Synth Oil. Water pump checked out all good & I Refurbed & Tested the Aluminium Radiator. fitted New Thermostat & New Sender. Refurbed the Fan & Housing. Internally Cleaned & Sealed Fuel Tank - No Rust. Externally re-sprayed Tank 'Black' along with All Bodywork. Front metal Fender is rust free & I Undersealed it. Checked & stripped Swing Arm to bare metal - Found Solid & re-Painted. Serviced The Diff - fresh oil & seals.
The S/Magna comes with Genuine Rare 'Hondaline' Sissy bar & Six Pack kit. (Easily removed along with pillion seat for Single Seat Riders.) Also superb 'MARVING' Turn Out Silencers & after market Carb side covers. All re-sprayed in fresh Black Paint.
This Now is a Seriously Updated Rare Hi Spec Sought after '750cc SUPERMAGNA.'
It will be having a new M.O.T. around Jan/Feb. ( I am in no hurry to sell. ) I have the V5 Documents - Receipts - & many pictures of all the refurb work undertaken. It's Lucky New Owner will benefit from hours of careful work & the Many New Critical Parts. I have Priced it Sensibly. In 4 years it will have Classic Status = No Tax or M.O.T. Reqmn't
