SYK is delighted to be supporting our prestigious client in their search for an experienced care home manager based in Watford, Hertfordshire.
This is medium- sized home offering nursing and dementia care rated as GOOD in their latest CQC inspection.
As Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall clinical and operational performance of the home and will manage and coordinate staff, budgets and resources in addition to marketing the home and supporting with a planned expansion.
Key information:
40 hours per week on a permanent contract, working weekday days, with some flexibility required for evenings, weekends and on-call due to the seniority of the postApplicants for this Care Manager post should be:
NMC Registered Nurse - Adult General/RGN qualifiedHave the Registered Managers Award Level 4 or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4 or be willing to study for itProven management and leadership experience within the UK/Scottish care home sectorDemonstrate proven elderly and dementia care experience, with good working knowledge of Care Inspectorate essential standardsConfident leading, developing and motivating a teamAble to offer commitment and longevity to the role and demonstrate a positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach to leading and developing the homePlease note any offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS/PVG/Access NI check and employment reference checks in addition to verification of UK professional registration (if applicable), right to work in the UK and Occupational Health clearance.
