This item commemorates the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

It is a COMMEMORATIVE TEASPOON, purchased from The Thimble Guild.

This is a lovely Silver Plated Teaspoon, made by 'Exquisite E J Ltd'. It is just under 11cms long in total. The bowl is smooth. The front of the handle stem is fluted like a column, with a capital at the top. Sitting right on the top is the State Crown, used for the Coronation, beautifully modelled. The back of the handle stem and bowl are all plain, with just the maker's name, but the Crown is as good at the back as at the front. The spoon is quite heavy for it's size.

The spoon was purchased new. It was NOT purchased at the time of the Coronation. I suspect my Mum bought it at the time of the Silver Jubilee. It is unused, unmarked and in pristine condition - look at my photos. This is a really handsome, commemorative item.
