His & Hers Mexican Carved Hand Chair in the Style of Pedro Friedeberg, 1960’s

Lovely and unusual chairs carved into the shapes of hands , one a man’s the other a woman’s, quite rare to find his and hers together.

The Studio carved hand has an incised love line and life line. The artist has carved elegant fingernails and the inner and outer joint lines and folds the palm.

In good condition for the age ,some age related splits/character (easly filled and coloured if desired) here and there , but chairs are still rock solid , and no woodworm.

These perhaps would be ideal for a wedding ceremony etc….?
