Driver Hire Southampton are currently recruiting for a HGV Yard Person. This role is ideal for someone looking for 1-2 days of work a week. Your role will be to move and organise vehicles in a busy yard ensuring high level of safety at all times.

About this role:

Work on a AD HOC basis (1-2 days a week)Working hours are 7:30am- 6:00pmMoving and organising vehicles around the yardOperate company vehicles in a safe mannerMoving vehicles between the depots in Southampton when requiredComplete all necessary paperwork accuratelyConduct daily vehicle checks and report any damageKeep yard in clean and tidy condition at all times What we require from you:

Full UK Class 2 licenceValid CPC and Digi Tacho cardOwn transport to commute to and from workHave a great understanding of health and safetyAlert and aware of your surroundingsAttention to detailMinimum of 12 months experience on Class 2 preferred but not essentialFantastic communication skills Benefits of working with us at Driver Hire Southampton:
