SPLIT SHIFTS (Earlies & Afternoons)

Week 1 - 07:00 to 15:30

Week 2 - 12:30 to 21:00

40 hours @ GBP18.97 per hour (hours as above) = GBP758.80 per week x 52 weeks = GBP39,457.60 per annum 4 hours @ GBP28.45 per hour (08 00 1 in 3 Saturdays mornings) = GBP1,991.85 per annum

Total Earnings = GBP41,449.45 per annum

+ Non-compulsory overtime available to boost your income:

GBP28.45 x 5 hours per week = GBP142.25 x 52 weeks = GBP7,397.00 per annum OR

GBP28.45 x 10 hours per week = GBP284.50 x 52 weeks = GBP14,794.00 per annum

Potential Earnings cGBP48,000.00 - GBP57,000.00 per annum

OR

NIGHTSHIFT

Monday to Thursday - 8:30 pm to 7:00 am

40 hours @ GBP23.15 per hour (hours as above) = GBP926.00 per week x 52 weeks = GBP48,152.00 per annum

Total Earnings = GBP41,449.45 per annum

+ Non-compulsory overtime available to boost your income:

6 hours @ GBP34.73 per hour = GBP10,834.20 per annum

Potential Earnings = GBP58,986.20 per annum

You must only apply if you have relevant HGV-Mechanical Qualifications such as IRTEC, NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds or if you don t have the qualifications then time-served with at least five years experience working on HGVs

About the Company

The company is well established, having been in operation for over 70 years and they are specialists in commercial vehicle rental. Their Business has 6 rental depots, with fully equipped, modern maintenance workshops in the North and South of England. From these depots they operate in excess of 2000 vehicles (of which 1000 are above 3.5 tons).

About the role

The position of HGV Technician will involve being responsible for carrying out inspection and service routines and repairs and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner. The HGV Mechanic will be reporting to the Workshop Manager and will be able to investigate and diagnose faults, report findings and be able to carry out all repairs to the current manufacturers standards.

It would be advantageous for you to possess these skills but not essential as training will be given:

Knowledge of cranes or hydraulics & experience working on tippers, tipper grabs or beaver tails
