About the role:

To undertake a wide range of skilled tasks and the operation of specialist tools and equipment following training on these items in relation to the operational functions required within Highways, Grounds and Street Scene.

To work as part of a team and to co operate with and support colleagues.

About you:

To be enthusiastic, self motivated and willing to play an active role within a team.

To undertake operational tasks as directed in relation to highways maintenance.

Co operate with and support colleagues.

Recognise and adhere to all relevant health and Safety policies and arrangements in a pro active manner.

Maintain and update work records etc. as required.

What you will do:

Highways repairs

Drainage works

Grass cutting

Traffic management

Out of hours standby rota

Take an active part in the open health and safety culture
