My Liverpool based client is looking to recruit an Online Support Desk Operative on a permanent contract to work out of their Liverpool City Centre head office. The role is a supportive role offering assistance to colleagues and customers who may have queries around the online functions. The salary is 26,000, full time with the requirement to work one in four Saturday mornings 8am - 1pm (working from home with the hours claimed back in lieu).

As the support desk representative, you'll be passionate about people and have a natural flair for guiding customers towards solutions. You will need to have strong communication skills, be able to think quickly and understand how to resolve issues first time or know where to escalate for a timely resolution.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role include

- Respond to client and colleague requests for assistance, guiding them with process, experience and system queries

- Assist end users by directing them to available supporting material or information to improve their experience and ability to self serve

- Triage all client queries to ensure the best experience and resolution in a timely manner and escalate and articulate any significant issues to the appropriate owner

- Ensure all issues are resolved through effective recording, tracking and communication

- Document and highlight new issues and insights across the team to support knowledge and best practice sharing
