Hearing and Witness Team Manager
Service Care Legal are working with a Scottish Inquiry, based in Edinburgh, which is looking for a Hearing and Witness Team Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for running Inquiry hearings and managing witnesses, including citation.
Key Responsibilities:
Run Inquiry hearings and manage witnessesCitation and management of witnessesExcellent organisational skills and people management experienceSystematic and methodical approach to problem-solvingFlexibility in approach to the role and a strong team playerAbility to flex and respond to competing priorities in the moment
Requirements:
Experience of Inquiry work, litigation, or group litigation would be desirableGood understanding of GDPR and other data protection issues would be desirableSolicitors are encouraged to apply, but the individual does not need to hold a current practising certificate and will not be working as a solicitor
Qualifications:
Litigation experience is essentialA degree in Law is desirableExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
