The successful candidate will possess a NEBOSH / IOSH certification and have prior experience as a Health and Safety Officer. Duties will include: Creating and refining Health & Safety arrangements and Safe Working Methods for office spaces, staff and volunteers Implementing workplace health and safety audits Carrying out health and safety training and ensuring documentation is up to date Promoting Health & Safety awareness and improved risk control in the workplace Carrying out risk assessments and investigating any incidents Preparing Health & Safety reports, statements and relating correspondence Ensuring that there are systems in place to report and manage potential hazards Establishing working partnerships with Personnel in other departments to pursue common Health & Safety Objectives Skills and attributes: Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Health and Safety Officer NEBOSH National General Certificate qualified.
