The Company
As a Principal Contractor to the Rail Sector, Safety comes first for this organisation. The Role
Supporting Network Rail on a wide variety of Rail projects, you will be promoting a positive HSQE culture in projects surrounding Civil Engineering and Forestry, supporting On Track Plant teams across the Southern Region. Due to the nature of the Rail sector, you must be flexible in travelling to a variety of sites, which may include overnight stays occasionally.
You will be implementing health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation and driving that continued positive H&S Culture. Write documentation, such as Construction Phase Plans, risk assessments etc. Conducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations and engaging with the client and other external stakeholders
Remuneration & Benefits
Basic salary is up to GBP50,000 per annum depending on experience, Company Vehicle, company pension scheme. 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
About You
You will be an experienced Rail Health and Safety professional, that holds a NEBOSH certificate and a PTS.
Good experience of working to and auditing ISO standards including 9001, 14001 and 45001
A strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation, compliance and regulations
