Our client are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Officer to join their team
Responsibilities will include:
Oversee and administer risk assessment reviews, occupational health risk, surveillance and associated implications, and administer equipment inspections and records thereofAssist in the development of health and safety training courses for delivery in–houseConducting and coordinating the delivery of Health and Safety related trainingConduct and record Health and Safety inductionsAct as Mentor and provide support and guidance to the Health & Safety CoordinatorSupport operational managers in their safe management of office/depot facilitiesAssist in work in progress inspections where requested by operationsCo–coordinate the Property Services Health and Safety committee meetingsCarry out H&S induction Training for new startersAssist in evaluation of Contractors and Suppliers' H&S submissions to tendersCarry out inspection of work equipment such as Tetra Kit, ladders, respirators and abrasive wheels (not exhaustive) The successful Health and Safety Officer will have:
