Smart Solutions are working with one of Europe's largest manufacturer within their industry, who are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team in the Ammanford area. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of Health and Safety management systems within the Site and for ensuring that advice and support is available for management for them to fulfil their own responsibilities.
Hours/Shift: Days and Afternoons rotating: Days - Monday to Friday, 06.00 to 14.00hrs (5 x 8 hours). Afternoons - Monday to Thursday 14.15 to 0015hrs (4 x 10hrs)
Duties of the Health and Safety Advisor:
Ongoing development and implementation of improved Health and Safety practices, policies, and procedures on the site. Enforce the effective operation of Health and Safety practices and policies in conjunction the Management team across all sites. Review Risk assessments annually, post-accident and after changes to processes. Identify areas of risk, concern, and recommendations for implementation on site. Undertake regular unscheduled Safety audits on the site to ensure compliance with Group policy. Requirements for the Health and Safety Advisor:
Must have similar H&S background within the manufacturing/production environment. NEBOSH General certificate. A high level of analytical, methodology and time management skills required. A high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in a Training environment would be beneficial Benefits of the Role:
