Parallel Project Training is a specialist project management training company headquartered in Reading, but all team members are home-based. Parallel is committed to delivering high-quality training to our corporate, public and online learners, helping them succeed in their chosen project management roles. Parallel is committed to making training available to all at a reasonable cost. It has a broad portfolio of courses, mainly focussed on those of the Association of Project Management, including the full range of their qualifications from Fundamentals to Chartered. Due to continued growth, Parallel Project Training seeking to appoint a Head of Training Delivery to take up a key leadership role within the management team, reporting to the Managing Director. The Head of Training Delivery is a hands-on role, spending approximately 50% of their time training and coaching. The role will hold significant responsibility and therefore offers a market-leading salary and a broader attractive benefits package, including a high degree of flexible working.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
leading the training delivery capability to all clientsoverseeing the development of material and solutions to client-specific training requirementsmaintaining a productive relationship with all our stakeholders, including the APMline management of our employed trainers and complete oversight of the associate trainer pool Experience
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate proven leadership skills with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer experiences. You will have a relevant technical background in project management and the project management training market business. You will be exposed to some of our client sectors, particularly defence, built asset consultancy, construction, Oil and Gas, insurance, charities, rail and energy.
Qualification
Educated to a degree level or above, you must hold one of the APM PMQ (APMP), Prince2, Managing Successful Programmes or PMI qualifications and ideally be a Chartered Project Professional, although this is not mandatory.
The Role
This is a full-time permanent role. We will be looking for a successful applicant who can project the Parallel persona, quality and culture and play a key role in setting the strategy to underpin our planned growth over the coming years.
The role will include occasional travel around the UK and overseas to accommodate client requirements, including evenings and occasional weekends.
