The role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead Breast Cancer Now’s policy and evidence work during a period of maternity leave.
You’ll ensure that we have policy positions and calls in place across our strategic objectives which are informed by patient insight, data and research, and that plans are in place for our policy and evidence work.
And you’ll build strong relationships with key external stakeholders and work with public affairs, campaigns and PR colleagues to translate our positions and plans into change for people affected by breast cancer.
About you
You’ll have significant experience working in relevant policy and evidence roles delivering change and be an experienced manager with great leadership skills.
You’ll be an excellent communicator who is confident working with a range of people, from patients to government ministers. You’ll be well organised and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines. And your analytical skills and sound judgement will help ensure our policy and evidence work delivers for people affected by breast cancer.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role is based in our London office. However, our hybrid working model allows full-time staff members to work up to 3 days per week at home.
