Our client is a well-established and respected recruitment business that operates across public sector and commercial. They have a great presence in the UK and also operate with a global outsourced partner in Asia.

Due to planned growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Head of People from the recruitment sector that has a great understanding of People and HR function. The Head of People sits on the leadership team and is responsible for setting talent up for success, cultivating the employee experience, and driving overall organizational performance through its people. Reporting to the CEO, the head of people works in partnership with other leaders at the organization to develop strategies and tools to attract and recruit talented individuals that will play critical roles across the company, grow and retain existing talent to increase organizational success, and ensure all employees have the resources they need to be successful.

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of staff within the business (150 in London currently and looking to grow this substantially) Management of a small tam and be part of the leadership team, contribute to the company vision and strategy, and act as the senior advisor on key topics that will directly affect and shape people and culture. Work with the Sales Managers and develop and implement talent strategies to drive performance, development, engagement, and retention. Constantly review competencies across all levels and ensure strategy is in place to increase the productivity and effectiveness of individuals Serve as executive champion for a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workforce. Drive a culture that embraces feedback in all directions, including owning and enabling the formal performance management processes. Guide internal communications on strategic and tactical objectives related to employee experience. Develop and implement a total rewards strategy that aligns cash compensation, benefits, perks, equity, and other items with company strategy, commercial and revenue goals, and employee priorities. About you

Qualifications:

Background in Recruitment or similar sector is a MUST. Experience building best practice HR/People programs and initiatives in a hands-on, highly collaborative environment. Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills. Strong business, analytics and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Knowledge of Employment laws and regulations. Prior experience cultivating a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment and building practices and processes that sustain and enable that culture. Ability to work closely with sales leadership . Demonstrated success in leading, inspiring, coaching, and building world-class teams. 10+ years of progressive relevant experience, including prior management experience.
