Head of People – Established Charity – Berkshire with excellent hybrid working This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Human Resources to join an inspirational charity. Reporting into the Director of Finance you will be responsible for delivering the people strategy to develop, grow, retain and reward their talent. Your key accountabilities will include:–
Implementing the people strategy, ensuring it is aligned to the operational plan and organisation strategy Aligning the work of the people and volunteering teams and supporting the recruitment and development of their volunteers Working with the leadership team to embed their culture, values and behaviours Providing advice, data insights and analysis on people metrics like absences and turnover Developing and implementing initiatives that enhance employee experience and wellbeing Leading the pay strategy and reviewing their existing benefits Managing the People budget and leading the People team You should be an experienced Head of HR with a track record of developing and implementing people strategies ideally within the not for profit sector. You will need to have experience of leading change management initiatives, improving management capability and gathering/interpreting data to identify trends. A strong knowledge of employment law and excellent stakeholder management skills are essential. The ability to work both strategically and operationally is imperative for this role.
