This healthcare–related membership body is looking to recruit a Head of Operations to lead on the governance, committee servicing, and management of the organisation as a whole, enabling it to continue to be effectively represent their members' concerns.
Key Responsibilities of the Head of Operations position:
Direct the work of the Operations team, undertaking regular reviews and allocating tasks according to the capacity of team members.Manage internal processes that ensure that the organisation is compliant with charity and company laws, including coordinating annual returns and information governance.Coordinate the procedures of recruiting new staff and committee members, and oversee HR processes.Assist with quarterly and annual budgeting exercises.Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the building, including provision of services and supplies.Participate in all of the organisation's major events, including annual meetings. Skills, Qualifications and Experience for the Head of Operations position:
Highly–organised with the ability to work independently and a minimum of three years' experience in an operations–based role.Experience of working in a charity/public health environment and of managing a small and busy team.Proficient in all Microsoft packages and in use of a CRM system.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrable experience of project management.Previous experience of governance, specifically the statutory requirements of registered charities. Salary and Details:
