Holmen Iggesund is a Swedish company and a member of the Holmen Group. The Workington Mill produces premium paperboard under the brand Incada. Our paperboard is an integral part of the shopping experience for our client's customers. Since 2013 we have powered the mill almost entirely by fossil fuel free energy. Our integrated pulp and paperboard mill is located to the west of the beautiful Lake District in the north of England.

As our Head of Finance, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of the company, an entrepreneurial thinker who works with the mill senior management to identify and drive business development opportunities.

You will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning alongside leading and growing the Finance function.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of financial leadership, a strategic mindset and exceptional communication skills with a full range of stakeholders.

Our Head of Finance will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing financial strategies to support & drive company goals and objectives Managing the budgeting process and provide financial analysis to support decision making Collaborating with other department heads to drive financial efficiency and effectiveness Leading and mentoring the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development Leading and supporting your team to partner & support the business in providing financial advice on budgets, forecasts, planning, cost savings & process Being the first point of contact with auditors and regulatory bodies What we re looking for in our Head of Finance:

Hold a Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field Be a Chartered Accountant CIMA/ACA Have proven experience as a Head of Finance or similar leadership role Possess a strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations Have excellent strategic thinking and problem solving skills Have demonstrable ability to lead and develop a high performing teams Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Be flexible and adaptable to engage with relevant stakeholders inside and outside of the business of all levels Closing Date: 11pm, Sunday 21 January 2024
