We are seeking an experienced and professional Russian speaking Head of Family Office to manage the operations and investment strategies of a private single-family office based in London. The candidate will handle a range of responsibilities including strategic wealth management, coordination of family governance, oversight of investments, and management of private and philanthropic endeavours. This role demands a high level of discretion, expertise in financial management, and an exceptional understanding of the unique needs of high-net-worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that align with the family's goals and risk tolerance.
- Oversee investment portfolio management, including asset allocation, risk assessment, and due diligence of potential investments.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of external advisors and service providers, including legal counsel, accountants, and investment managers.
- Ensure the family's financial and legal affairs are managed in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular reports and updates to family members on financial status, investment performance, and risk management.
- Facilitate wealth transfer strategies, estate planning, and philanthropic initiatives.
- Oversee the budgeting, cash flow management, and financial operations of the family office.
- Develop and maintain a confidential and secure system for managing sensitive family information.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience working in wealth management or/and family office in the UK or Europe.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, private wealth and tax planning.
- Proven track record of managing substantial financial portfolios.
- Fluent in Russian and in English.
- UK/EU/USA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Jurisprudence or related fields; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to interact with family members and external partners.
- Ability to work discreetly with sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
