Description

This is the role for you, if you:

Want to champion the work of a specialist and unique national theatre for children. Are a focused and driven fundraiser who wants to lead an ambitious team to success. Are an exceptional communicator, capable of building meaningful relationships with donors, and work collaboratively with a committed staff team. What would you be doing?

An important member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), you will provide leadership to the supportive and ambitious Development team and devise and implement effective fundraising strategies to achieve agreed budget targets. You will oversee and relationship manage a growing base of loyal major donor supporters. You will be responsible for all aspects of revenue and capital fundraising, including our thriving events programme, our Name A Seat Campaign, growing membership schemes, and well-developed project and capital fundraising. The role will be situated at Polka's theatre venue for 0-12 years olds in Wimbledon, where you will see first-hand the impact of your work on children, whilst enjoying all the benefits of our recently redeveloped building and Polka's flexible working policies.
