Harness Build Technician

We're seeking a hands-on, proactive Harness Build Technician with a strong "can do" attitude and a deep understanding of the automotive industry. Our ideal candidate is a rapid learner, who excels in a multicultural environment and is driven to consistently push for efficiency and quality.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manufacturing automotive electrical harnesses. Building both low and high voltage assemblies and enclosures for prototypes. Performing end of line test procedures such as continuity, isolation and resistive tests, and reporting. Collaborating with our in-house engineering team to support design and development. Assisting in building the test rigs as demanded. Personal Attributes:
Strong hands-on and proactive approach. Rapid learner, eager to develop new skills. Effective operator in a multicultural environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity even when English is not the first language of the audience. Ability to report to senior management in a clear and concise manner. Strong prioritization skills. Technical Attributes:
Minimum 2 years+ experience in automotive engineering, specifically in automotive electrical wiring build. Proficient understanding of EDS design, including fusing, grounding and network topologies. Knowledge of 2D harness drawing requirements and EDS requirements, specifications, and verification/validation methods. Experience with wire wrapping/twisting, and service loops. Familiarity with Moulded Parts and/or System 25 would be advantageous. Capability to read and interpret electrical schematics and harness manufacturing drawings. Knowledge of common connector systems, wire types and sleeving. Familiarity with automotive and/or motorsport wiring standards. Experience with high voltage cables and connectors. Experience with end-of-line testing (e.g. Cirris) would be advantageous. Demonstrated ability to support effective root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions for quality issues. Good working knowledge of all low-voltage electrical systems within a vehicle platform.
