This is a very good quality Hamlyn Klein CJS-109 upright piano, made in 2010 and only very lightly used. Fully checked and serviced in our workshop including tuning and regulation, this is a great looking and sounding piano - perfect for beginners to advanced players and would easily see someone through all the grades. This piano has a mute rail operated by the middle pedal, for very quiet practice. Video demo available on request.

Tone and tuning

Very nice tone, especially for its size, good balance between brightness and warmth and a good dynamic range. It has just been tuned to concert pitch (A=440).

Keyboard and action

The full size 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated to play smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight action.

Hammers and strings

Very little wear in the hammers - this piano has been played very little. Strings also in great condition.

Sound board

Excellent condition, no cracks or splits.

Case

Stylish high gloss black case, in excellent condition.

Dimensions

Approx 109cm tall, 147 wide, 58 deep. Quite compact so ideal for fairly small rooms.
