My story

　　Meet Hale! Hale is a perfect size and has a very calming personality! She is about 2.5 years old and is just around 45lbs. She is calm natured, walks well on a leash, and is even potty trained! Hale is heartworm positive but is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. Come and meet Hale today!We do offer a 'slumber party' program which allows you to take a dog home for a week before adopting to see if they are a good fit for your family. There is no cost or commitment for this - we provide the supplies, you provide the love!Come adopt from the Humane Society of South Mississippi (HSSM), a progressive animal welfare organization located in Gulfport, MS. Each year HSSM houses approximately 5,000 homeless pets. Every day we are fighting a space capacity crisis as we try to care for the overwhelming amount of abandoned local pets. Please consider visiting our shelter to adopt your next best friend.
