Group HR Director - up to 70K - Daventry - Perm
We are looking for an experienced Group HR Director to take ownership of the HR function for our client who is in the B2B services sector.
We are looking for someone strategic but happy in a hands-on implementation role, building a team and embedding the necessary processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up processes and policies that align with the company's objectives and values, managing employee relations, managing performance, and ensuring legal compliance across the 3 entities in the Group
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies that align with objectives and values.
- Manage employee relations including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent to the organisation.
- Ensure legal compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on people management issues.
- Manage the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
- Manage the payroll process in coordination with finance team.
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate employee records.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an HR Director or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, employment law - and best practices
- Strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a company with 100-200+ employees is preferred
- Experience of managing employees in multiple countries
- Knowledge of payroll processing is a plus
- Degree in Human Resources preferred
