A growing banking institution are looking for a Group Financial Controller for their expanding Finance team.

Given the firm's growth and all the upcoming new projects, they are now looking for someone that can lead their Financial Control & Reporting team. Reporting directly into senior management, you will be tasked with the improvement of the finance function as well as providing crucial insights to support decision-making.
You will be involved in projects and have the chance to add your personal spin to them, having a tangible impact on the firm's operations and future plans. Some of your day to day will include:
General oversight of financial control activities, including review of month end reconciliations and management of reporting standards under IFRSFormalisation of group accounting policies and procedures including integration of new businesses into the group structure and processesTaking the lead of technical accounting issues. Liaising with external auditors, tax advisors and external regulatory bodiesCollaborating with the CFO on ad-hoc projects regarding accounting standards, strategy and process improvement Providing key insights to senior management to aid them in strategic decision-making Experience required:
Qualified accountant with 5+ years PQEFinancial Services experience required, ideally from a FinTech, Banking or Broking backgroundGood IFRS experience required Good management and leadership, with the ability to put forward proposals, come up with new ideas and leading process improvement The bank offers a generous benefits package on top of a thriving and supporting company culture.
