Location: Aldershot

Salary: 16-19 ph / 32,500 - 38,500 pa doe

Hours: 39 hour p/week (7:15 - 4:00pm Mon - Thur, 7:15 - 1:15pm Fri)

Overtime: Available at Premium Rates

Position Overview: We are in search of multiple individuals, if you possess skills and knowledge in areas such as, Manual Grinding, CNC Grinding, Surface Grinding, Cylindrical Grinding, Universal Grinding, Internal/External Grinding, Honal/Ring Grinding we encourage you to apply.

Manual Grinder Duties: The scope of your responsibilities will be determined by your background and contributions to the company, encompassing tasks such as:

Setting up and operating manual Grinders (CNC Grinders also on-site and full training will be provided)Conducting manual grinding operations to refine surfaces and achieve specified standards.Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ascertain machining requisites.Undertake maintenance and troubleshoot machinery, conducting routine upkeep and minor repairs as necessary.Uphold safety protocols and sustain a clean and organized workspace.Manual Grinder Requirements:

Previous experience as a Toolmaker or similar role.Proficiency in manual milling, manual turning, and manual grinding operations.Familiarity with CNC and/or grinding machines and (setting and operating).If you can program online on CNC Grinders then that would be a huge advantage.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Exceptional attention to detail and a resolute commitment to producing high-quality work.Proficient use of precision measuring instruments.Capable of working independently and as part of a cohesive team.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively.
