JOB AD:
You will explore, adapt and refine our graphics processor architectures, as well as find unique and high impact improvements that increase performance whilst reducing power and area usage.
Refine, research, and develop state of the art techniques to help make our next generations of graphics systems more efficient, powerful and/or feature rich e.g. reducing bandwidth, looking at coherency of rays, improving calculations for shaders Analyse performance of different approaches Assist in creating specifications for graphics systems Work in a friendly and enthusiastic engineering team
You'll have:
Interest or knowledge of 3D graphics techniques e.g. rendering, shaders, textures Interest or knowledge of processor architecture e.g. memory management, caching, multi–threading Strong C/C++ programming skills
You might also have:
A first or upper second B.Sc. or B.Eng (or higher).
Some knowledge of computer hardware/circuits Some understanding of Performance/Power and Performance/Area trade–offs.
