Grant Support Executive - CharityGBP32,000 - GBP36,000City (hybrid)My client is a livery company based in the City. They are looking for a Grant Support Executive to support their Grants Team. You will be supporting the Grant Managers in the Philanthropy Team to develop focus grant programmes.You will be responsible for assessing the grant applications while maintaining a variety of portfolios of grants. You MUST have experience working with grants (preferably in a Charitable or Third party organisation). THE ROLE To assess grant applications - researching and analysing applications; obtaining appropriate advice and references; reaching a judgement or recommendation for discussion with the Grant Programme Managers.To maintain a portfolio of grants and continue building positive relationships with grantees.To prepare and produce Committee papers, to attend Committee meetings and develop relationships with Committee members.To undertake research relating to the potential areas of development for the programmes.To support the GPMs to develop and deliver our funder plus offer to grantees.To support the Grants Programme Managers in building relationships with key external stakeholders. THE PERSON Experience of working with or in the Third Sector.Experience working with GrantsInterest or experience working with younger people, charitiable organisationHas experience volunteering in a charitable capacityProven project management skills and experience of delivering successful projectsExperience of undertaking research, analysing complex information and writing reports.Well organised, methodical and resourceful, with an attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines.Confident and articulate, with initiative and a problem-solving disposition.Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
