Description

Our client based in Sevenoaks is recruiting for an experienced Administrator who is seeking a career within HR. This role offers hybrid working along with support in studying for CIPD qualification

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator or someone looking to start their career in Human Resources, to work as part of an effective HR team and to assist in providing a comprehensive, professional service to managers and employees

You will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of HR including recruitment from placing internal and external advertisements, liaising with recruitment agencies and arranging interviews, carrying out pre–employment checks, to liaising with internal and external candidates. You will manage the new starter process from offer stage through to induction and set up, maintain and update new and existing employee details using Cascade (the HR system). You will handle maternity, paternity and parental leave procedures and queries and administer other HR processes such as training, performance management, compensation and benefits, and leavers.

The ideal candidate will be have the following skills below

Degree educated (minimum 2:1) ideally administrative experience fast paced, professional environment on a temp or permanent position. If you have HR admin expereince this would be an advantage

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced in using Microsoft Office suite ie Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail Demonstrates a 'can do' attitude Ability to build effective relationships at all levels Appreciates and understands the need for confidentiality in dealing with all HR issues Is a co–operative team member Displays a flexible, adaptable approach and always rises to new challenges Remains positive despite difficulty, disappointment and when under pressure Builds rapport with colleagues Is aware of personal development needs and raises issues with manager to help improve effectiveness. Takes on board comments about development needs and is always willing to learn
